Tim Piasky

CEO

Tim joined as CEO of the BIA-LA/Ventura Chapter in October 2013. He previously worked for BIASC from 2000 to 2005 as the director of environmental affairs, legislation and regulations. As CEO he manages the daily operations and staff of the chapter while working closely with the BIA Board of Directors.

Piasky previously served as a deputy director for Restore Neighborhoods Los Angeles, Inc., an organization that engages in community development activities in an effort to improve the physical, economic and social environments within greater Los Angeles. He successfully managed the corporation's real estate and construction activities as well as the planning, direction and management of the housing developments, rehabilitation, asset management and resale efforts.

Piasky also previously worked as ceif redevelopment officer for Neighborhood Housing Services of Los Angeles County (NHS) where he managed real estate and development efforts and served as executive manager of the organizations' strategic planning activities. NHS serves as a catalyst for local residents, business and government representatives to work together to build stronger neighborhoods, improve the quality of life for low to moderate income families of modest means and to revitalize communities into neighborhoods of choice.

In addition, he served as chief operating officer for Victory Homes, Inc. of Arcadia, Calif., from 2005-2010. Piasky is a certified real estate broker in Calif. and is a professional civil engineer (P.E.). He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Ore. and a Master of Science degree in civil and environmental engineering from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
