The Building Industry Association of Southern California's Los Angeles/Ventura Chapter (BIASC-LAV) is the voice of residential building and development in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. We represent the thousands of men and women and their member companies who design, plan, build, and remodel homes and apartments throught our region. Whether it is revitalizing a neighborhood or designing a new community and no matter the housing type - suburban homes to high rise apartments - our members take pride in providing the quality structures that Southern Californians call home.
We provide unparalleled leadership and support to our members and to the industry as we strongly address the issues important to residential building, development and construction and we champion the broader housing issues in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. As an association of industry professionals, technicians and skilled craftsmen we have deep knowledge and expertise in residential buildng and development and as such we support safe, healthy, sustainable and quality rental and ownership housing, and measures that assure an adequate supply and range of housing types, sizes and costs that support a variety of lifestyle choices.
With over 90 years of continuous service to the building industry in Los Angeles and Ventura counties, BIASC-LAV is a vested member of the community and we pride ourselves not only as a source of housing, but as a job creator, an economic engine and a purveyor of the American Dream.
